I’d been following David carve out his career since just before 2006 started Seen him release tracks and perform but now he’s headed ,it seems, in a more benevolent direction, guiding those who who desire it to success as he starts 360 – Artist Development Academy London.I was going to write a peice on this but I think it’s best If David Explains himself and what this is all about

“I have been lucky enough to travel to some wonderful countries performing with some of my musical hero’s in venues as prestigious as the 02. I have been blessed to sit in a car with a friend and hear my song come on the radio and felt the b
The music industry has changed dramatically since the first time I got signed with band “Dark Roses” for a release with Universal Music. In those days talent would be enough to get the attention of a big record company who would spend time and money on developing you as an artist and then presenting you to the world.
These days’ record companies are looking for artists who have done the ground work already, artists who know who they are, how to present themselves and already have an impressive fan base.It is all about creating the “buzz” that all of the labels are so desperately looking for.
Without the guiding hand of a record company A&R department to step in and develop you an artist, you are faced with two choices.
Rock up to audition for one of the popular TV talent shows or work on developing yourself as an Independent Artist. In most cases I would suggest both.
I set up the “360 Artist Development Academy” to give opportunity and knowledge to talented people who have the drive and motivation to take on the lessons and develop themselves as Independent Artists. To use everything I have learned and experienced to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to carve out a career and have some of the amazing experiences I have been lucky enough to enjoy. To use my network to create opportunities for emerging artist to progress on to recording and performing in the industry and to learn from other industry professionals who are out there doing the job every day.
