Seen it ??  Yeah ??  Good

Now  what?  What happens now . Who gets a  big bunch of money ? If you’re not on the list does that mean MTV ain’t gonna play youR records?  If Tinie is at the top are you only gonna play his stuff??  Does he get his own channel ..MTV Tempah??  No??

Really ??

What was the point of this .. to show MTV is listening to what goes on in the streets or here in the UK?. let’s not forget this is JUST AN OPINION  of a few people on a panel . Experienced and knowledgeable they may be . Infallible they ain’t. just the same way you may agree with the list  is the exact same way you don’t have to agree. If you’re favourite MC  isn’t on the list  it means NOTHING in the grand scheme of things. Seriously NOTHING. If they wanted a real list of top ten MCs they could have left it to a real panel of people to determine the top spot…YOU: THE MUSIC LOVING PUBLIC

Ghetts’ reaction means just as much as the purpose of the 10 ten ..NOTHING.  Now don’t get it twisted .. I aint looking for a MC war with ghetts .. In my opinion he should have been in this list .but for me he should have not even bothered commenting on it . The people that make this industry possible are the end users YOU: THE MUSIC LOVING PUBLIC.


I don’t care about panels as they they can only give out opinions. it’s a small cross section of people who don’t have to get out wallets and purses to vote with hard earned cash. They are in a priveleged position , as I am, to be at work in a arm of the music industry that’s making waves right now . Funny that the top guy is already the biggest seller  and therefore will undoubtedly make MTV a bit of cash in ad revenue on TV and on the web. I love Patrick as an artist . He is talented and entertaining .I’ve said wayyyyy before Passout this kid is gonna be big and I’ve said in public on  radio. Tears : the track and the video and the acoustic remix was more than different. That in my mind should have made him blow up. Eventually his time came . I am happy for him

BUT……


Ask yourself this question : is Lowkey a better MC than TINIE??   fuck Passout off out of the equation . IS LOWKEY A BETTER MC THAN TINIE.. NOT A BIGGER STAR.. A BETTER MC.

All said and all done what I’m trying to say here is .. Don’t worry about it . Really .It’s just an opinion.

Charlie Sloth and Black the Ripper provide some much needed reality over an easy hip-pop riddim while they ask what happened to that REAL music . Google wither of these rappers for yourself . Thwy aint about bullshit cars and MTV fakery. Pay close attention to the lyrics . especially black’s peice. Some people need to wake the hell up
